Advice

on the development of the foetus and the good health of the
mother.
Luna offers a range of organic food for mothers-to-be. For

From birth, feeding becomes
of capital importance for baby. During the first months of
life, only breast milk or formula milk is adapted to your
baby’s digestive system and it is largely recognized
that mother’s milk is the ideal food for baby. However,
if or when you are not able to breast feed, your health visitor
(pediatrician, doctor, midwife...) will advise you infant
milk.
Babynat infant formula offers a nutritional composition which
is in line with recent research on infant nutrition.
Then from four months, your
Baby’s diet can begin to diversify. It is an essential
stage not only for the development of baby but also for his
gustatory education. Indeed, good control of diversification
is one of the ways that exists to avoid certain diseases of
adulthood such as obesity.
That is why our fruit and vegetable jars are without added
sucrose and without added salt. During this period, the essential
food remains milk but the digestive system can absorb other
food.

At about 5 months, baby can swallow semi-solid food
thanks to the tongue that begins to move and coordinate.
At about 6 months, baby starts
to chew even before having teeth. At this stage of life, food
diversification can really begin. Gradually, you will help
baby to discover new tastes and new textures. The quantity
of milk decreases with the introduction of other types of
food.
At about 8 months, baby can
sit. She/he has some teeth and can now swallow very small
pieces of crushed food. Baby’s diet is more and more
diversified and evolves towards more solid or semi-solid food.
You can now start giving small pieces of food to your baby.
Pay attention to the reactions of
your baby in order to detect possible food’s
allergies. In case of doubt, do not hesitate to consult your
health visitor.
Babynat recipes exclude the
main recognized allergens (such as kiwi, celery...), offering
recipes without milk, gluten or egg so that each baby can
find products that are suitable for his/her allergic predispositions
as well as nutritionally adapted to his/her needs.
A healthy and diversified diet provides baby the various nutrients
he/she needs.
Why Organic infant food ?
A baby’s organism is very fragile and sensitive
to pollution. His body is not sufficiently developed to filter
them away. To protect Babies the regulation of Baby food sets very
strict standards for the nutritional composition of the different
types of food. Organic infant products have to comply with
tough laws.
Moreover organic products are subjected to an additional regulation
concerning the mode of agricultural production and the animals’
breeding. Thus, the organic mode of production favours the
use of natural manures and bans chemicals of synthesis.
The animals are fed with organic fodder, reared outside and
treated with homeopathic and phytotherapic products (more
precisely extracted from plants). Any preventive treatment
with antibiotic is prohibited.
Using
Babynat products, which
comply with this legislation, is the best way to protect your
child and nature.
Indeed, organic agriculture remains the most natural way to
avoid toxic residues. Indeed, this mode of production favours
the use of natural manures and the prohibition of synthetic
chemicals. Moreover, any use of GMOs and GMO by-products is
excluded.
Thus Babynat is subject to a double regulation: the baby food
regulation and the organic regulation.
